Prenslaueberg and Neukoeln quarters are both popular  but at the same time remarkably different areas, in both of which I have shared my time in Berlin. I was astonished by the fact that 20 minutes in the underground was enough time to wander from the elegant boulevards to the alternative neighbourhoods, and then to the tranquil world
of the suburbs.

were constantly bringing about new emotions and thoughts and maintained in me the desire to explore furthermore the area.

I have visited these locations either with or without my camera and the rest of my equipment, under various weather conditions, which many times turned so intense that I had to literally flee soaked to the skin, or simply freezing.

Taking panoramic pictures was an impulsive choice; shooting was not based or confined by pre-constructed thinking; the outcome was considered as better matching the sublime atmosphere of the Berlin surroundings, both natural or created.
